Nope, the NVidia drivers require XFree86, or Xorg GUI system... DSL uses the lightweight Kdrive/Freedrive xservers for GUI...
As far as the kernel sources go , they are avaliable from the 3.3 knoppix CD, release dated 9/24/2003...
For the development utilities... Search the forums for gcc, g++, and make. Lots of threads on that topic..
Tough to pack all that on a 50 meg CD, and have room for an OS...
There have been some discussions on using apt-get to install Xfree86... For now, I have not heard of a successful install.. By the time you add the XFree/Xorg, and the supporting files, your right back to a standard knoppix/morphix/debian environment..
