I know how to start ftp server in linux (just use start ftp)

But what's the configuration of this ftp? How do I get on it from a different computer?

Thx for the quick answer sorry I couldn't find it myself. Another question? If I start this ftp server I can access it from anycomputer connected to the internet. Where are the files stored that you can put on the ftp server which directory?

when you connect to the ftp server and list the directory of the ftp server. you will see the files.
they are the same files you have in your $HOME directory (that is /home/dsl) so i gues that is where the files are stored.
