I think it sounds like you've probably burnt it the wrong way. The file is an image file, you need to "burn image" (or similar) rather than making a data disk with the file on it, which it sounds like you've done when you say you made it bootable. I think nero's made a bootable DOS disk with the iso on it as a file. I'm probably using an earlier version of nero than you, but most burning software has a "burn image" feature tucked away somewhere (may not be in the wizard, just cancel the wizard and it's probably under "file/..."). It may look for a certain image type (Nero looks for ".nrg" files), just change the dropdown to "all file types" and look for your "current.iso" file. The default burn settings should probably be right, but I always burn at the lowest speed just to make sure any older machines I encounter can read it.
