The new firefox should be inside the "MyDSL" sub-menu.

The old firefox version is still there.  It is not removed from the system.

I already tried that. If gtk2-0705.dsl and firefox-1.5uci are loaded, then when you try to run firefox 1.5, you get a whole bunch of errors. That is in DSL. It works fine in DSL-n though. There is probably another library(s) that is required. I loaded libc6.dsl, and got fewer errors when running firefox. Maybe I'm on the right track?

Have you tried just down loading from the firefox site, untar it and put the firefox folder in /usr/local?(i usally delete the old firefox, but you can just rename it to firefox.old just in case it don't work.). I don't get no errors,see pic->
