I'm not sure if this is what you want but there's a .dsl in the repository called EDNA (I think it's in the NET section). You'll also need Python.uci. You run Edna and python on the server. Point it to your mp3 collection and Edna presents a web page to any client coming in at port 8080 (http://edna_server_ipaddr:8080). Select your songs and Edna will stream them to your client.
