I'm still debating on whether or not to attempt a full Debian install on my Dim4550 at some point, but definitely not until I've put DSL on a hard drive or two.

I think I can I think I can I think I can....

<cringe>

Oh well; I was the loser who mistook my first mailer daemon for a distraught relative informing me that the person I was writing to had died in an automobile accident. I have been less than satisfied with Mandrake and Debian-based distros are more consistant with my philosophy of life.

Sometimes you've got to get from here to there by making an idiot out of yourself.

Nice to see SUSE out there and Red Hat sitting at my local Staples right next to XP with about half the price tag on it, anyway; if it hadn't been for Mandrake and the E-Z GUI installers I'd probably have been too afraid to take the first step and find out that there was an alternative and I wasn't too stupid to learn it in the first place.

Sorry,  I don't do windows.
