ico2- I didn't make that too clear,my apologies... The wvdial.conf is for wvdial.
I don't have a clue about the wmppp.app config file because I only use it as a monitor. I think you can probably set it up to launch ppp, and kill ppp,but I don't know how. When I install the deb package, it doesn't ask for or look for a config file. So I didn't think there was a problem. Maybe these 2 are just a bad idea.
The wvdial requires users to have a wvdial.conf prepared, and it seems wmppp needs a config which I don't know about. Perhaps it's time to give it up,there might be an easier ppp monitor to use.
