You may want to mention in the XFree info that .xserverrc needs to be executable. It took me a while to figure out why my rc file kept getting overwritten until I looked into startx to see that it falls back on xsetup.sh if it can't execute .xserverrc. The example file included with the extension is not executable. That said, I spent about an hour trying to get this going. I got as far as the nvidia logo before it knocked me back to console with no (EE) messages...so I don't have a clue what I need to change in XF86config
It may be the fact that I installed both extensions without first getting XF86 running properly....that's something to check tomorrow.
