I'm using XMMS 1.2.8  on DSL on an old laptop....

OSS emulation is supported by ALSA

FYI,

If you type:

dsl alsa

at the livecd boot: prompt

you should not get an "image does not exist" message.

Actually, I am not running the LiveCD. I installed onto the hard-drive.  Is there a boot-up script that I can modify to include the alsa option?
