USB zip is good for older PC - but it installs a small boot partition & assigns the rest of the pen drive to the regular partition. This is good for most older PC's
USB HDD is good for newer (about 2001 7 newer) motherboards. This one is good you can also create a boot floppy that will boot to the usb device.
I hope I am right here as I have been reading a lot abou tthis but I am REAL new
