When you say you "installed" the mydsl application to sda2, do you mean that you extracted it onto sda2? This can work in some situations, but it is not an ideal situation.
pr0f3550r: That would only work if the extension is a uci type. With dsl or tar.gz, the partition is umounted after the extensions are installed.
Add the command "mount /dev/sda2" to /opt/.bootlocal.sh, and make sure you back it up.
