(Sometime soon, someone will probably make a DSL extension that includes all the current CUPS printer drivers. Hint, hint.)
The best part of DSL's USB key installation scripts is that they can be used as templates to get other distros going from a USB key. For example, there's an interesting distro named CPX-Mini, based on Kanotix (my main distro), but its "install to USB key" script only uses USB-HDD geometry (and GRUB rather than SysLinux). My mobo won't boot it for some reason. So there's a good possibility I can use the commands in DSL's USB-ZIP installation script to format, partition, and install a bootloader (probably SysLinux) so that CPX-Mini boots correctly.
One would assume that, after the proper key geometry is set by the DSL script, it doesn't need to be done again.
