I install DSL in USB and using floppy, since my mobo doesn't support from USB. and prefer use USB to support my work in office rather CD since all CPU have USB than CD-Rom.
My problem is : i want to add more program for PC troubleshooting such as qparted and restore Ghost Image. but how?
my USB disk Capacity 128 MB.
Thanks :)

For qtparted, you can download the qtparted extension in the GTK2 section of the myDSL repository.  Just make sure that you read the *.info file for more information.

After booting with the:

dsl frugal

command, you should be able to use emelfm to copy the extension files over from the /tmp directory into the /cdrom directory.

They will then be automatically loaded at boot time.

Ghost is a commercial program, so I cannot help you there.

first of all thanks for your reply.
but it still leave me with several question.
1. when i boot with "dsl frugal" command, do i use live cd or my USB stick?
2. when i download DSL extension, do i have to use DSL in USB or in LiveCD ?
3. can u specify moving from /tmp to /cdrom folder, since i'm using DSL in USB Stick?
4. how to install DSL extension, since i'm facing several extension such as *.dsl, *.uci and *.

sorry to bother u again, because i'm newbie. please be spesific
Thanks

OK,

I assumed that you were booting from the USB stick.

If you are booting from livecd, you can save your extensions (*.dsl, *.uci, *.tar.gz) to you USB stick at /mnt/sda1

So you would open an emelfm file manager.

In the left window pane, you go to /tmp

Then in the right window pane, you go to /mnt (or to /cdrom if usb boot)

Then right click on "sda1" and choose "Mount" from the menu.

You should now have /tmp on the left and /mnt/sda1 on the right and you can see any existing files from your stick inside the right side window pane.

Highlight the file or files on the left side (*.dsl, etc) and then press the "Copy" button and they will be copied over to the other window pane.

If you are USB booting, then your work is complete and your extensions will be automatically reloaded when you reboot.

For livecd booting, you will need to plug your USB stick in and type:

dsl mydsl=sda1

at the boot prompt.
