It's terrible slow during the day, but gets faster at night.

I, too, have noticed how snail like the forum's rendering is. It is getting horrible.

The forum usage rate has climbed a lot in the last month or so.

It is now common to see 3 pages worth of new posts or replies within a 24 hour period.

It is difficult to keep up with this traffic. Seems like lately my "Read the Forums" time is much bigger than my "play with the os time".

I did notice a performance improvement earlier this week, however.
