any of you guys tried cafepress.com ? they'll make you shirts and stuff

Just what I was thinking. Not only will they make t-shirts, but journals, hats, backpacks, lunchboxes, stickers, mugs, license plate frames, and much more.

If Cafe Press is too expensive, maybe ThinkGeek would carry them cheaper or with a higher amount to go to the DamnSmall developers.  It might not be bad to ask both places if they offer better rates to opensource projects than the standard rate.  They could send the funds to John's paypal account or something.  Then links to the shirts, wherever you get them, could be added to the DSL store.  I'd even be happy with a black shirt with a one color screen print of  "DamnSmallLinux.org" on the front.  The more complicated ones would be nice though.

Does anyone have time to negotiate with Cafe Press and ThinkGeek?  Are we allowed to talk on behalf of John Andrews and the project?

http://www.cafepress.com/cp/info/help/base_prices.aspx
The above is a list of base prices for items.  If we opened a damnsmall store there, you mark the shirts up by $5-6 and have that go to John.  The base price for a basic t-shirt is $8.99 or $9 (add $3 for 2x, 3x, 4x), add $5 and you are at $14 + shipping.  Looks easy to setup too.  You get one front graphic on white t-shirt.  Graphic must be at least 200 pixels tall and in jpg or gif format.  Graphic comes out kind of small, limited to 2.25 inches tall.  The more expensive t-shirt is $13.99 and allows you front and back, but the back grapic looks small also.  Maybe if we got a graphic with "DamnSmallLinux.org  50MB of Penguin Power", that  could go on the back.
http://www.cafepress.com/cp/info/help/help_image_sizes.aspx  is a link to the image sizes allowed for each product.  the recommended images are .png format at 300dpi for better clarity.

I'm going to go ahead and contact ThinkGeek.  What the hell.  I recently saw that they were doing shirts for PVP and Penny Arcade.  Email sent with details of what we have avail at CafePress.  Think Geek might be able to do 2 graphics instead of one and on black T instead of white for the same money.
