OK, I know, this could be the dumbest post ever OR a reasonable suggestion for an amazinlgy and funily overlooked situation.
i had dloaded DSL a while ago and only now I found time to give it a try. So I booted and when I tried to use some dsl extentions none seemed to work... "hmm.. odd... this is dsl 0.7 so this should work... er, wait a sec... is this 0.7 ?... let's see... let's see... damn, I can' t find the version number anywhere !!!"
I even did some dmesg | grep' ing and still can' t find it
So, is there a way to tell what version I am running? if not, maybe you could add that in future releases, just to avoid silly posts like mine
Thanks in advance
