Doing it that way would be good for people like me who are very concerned about programs that overwrite personal files....AS LONG AS the script is run prior to dsl_restore (S49). Although in order to deal with it personally I'd still have to switch to using the backup/restore feature rather than storing my configs in a myDSL extension...not a big issue.
