Roberts; reading you last post was great, the work you, John and all contributors put in is incredible. Can
I please assure you, though I guess you know, DSL has the magical "mystery factor" that turns working
with it into something that's not actually work. It's educational value is therefore off the scale......

Carrying it in you pocket might be "cool", recovering old hardware is superbly commendable, but something
that effortlesly encourages people to learn with it is a thing of great value indeed. I'm probably too close
to the "educational" side, working in a university, but we like to think in these cases,

advantage everyone.

All the best.

About the remaster bunch:
I've been busy doing a remaster of DSL, and here is the "getting started guide" that I have with it:
---
http://www.angelfire.com/ms/telegram/getting_started.html
---
Unfortunately, I have no plans to put this remaster up for download.
:(
---
Work lately has centered around getting a nice "logo.16" made, still not
perfect. (The one that comes with luit linux is better).
Also, I have a lot of the visualization plugins for XMMS, and a built in web
page that has links to some good Mp3 sites for use with XMMS.
I do have a second window manager, besides the very-good fluxbox,
and it is called "Light Weight Window Manager" for use with machines with
limited memory. LW has no menu, so one has to know how to start applications
from the command line in an rxvt.
---
At least from all of this, I get a feel for what the developers of DSL have to go through to bring the distribution to everyone.
---
:;):

Rapidweather - if you want a second light window manager, I'd suggest evilwm over LWM.
