I seem to have hit a major barrier in using DSL, as I understand it, DSL uses XVesa "a small memory footprint implementation of X-Windows". It is not extensible and cannot be given drivers to use the 266 or 400 accelerated functions of the VIA chipset, even worse this means it can't be extended for our elo touch screen requirement, Elo has drivers a distro independant code that only needs Xf86free! has anyone resolved this one or integrated the full X-Windows?
Thanks Bruce
