I have a problem using Skype, still using two different sound chipsets (VIA 8233 and Opti 82C931).
A strong humming noise superposed on audio output.
Then I switch to ALSA driver and the audio work fine with VIA 8233 chipset. But unfortunately I have not been able to install ALSA with the Opti 82c931 chipset on another computer.
Any idea about this problem between Skype and OSS drivers?
