I see that OpenOffice 2.0 beta is in MyDSL: how to update to current version 2.0.3 IT?
The OOo site permit to download a tar.gz that contain rpm packages, but by emelFM I'm not able to install new version.
What is the right way?
Thanks all and bye
Stefano

I give myself first reply.
Main problem was dsl-dpkg.dsl and gnu-utils.dsl, because the size was 0.
After download of thease files, I've downloaded also aliendebs.dsl to transform the RPM packages of original OpenOffice.org in DEB packages.
Now the problem is that alien transform RPMs in directory (one for each RPM).
Anyone know how transform RPM in DEB to perform installation?
Bye
Stefano

Open Office is (the last time I checked) a self-contained application, so it doesn't matter what form or format the package is.  If you can extract the program from the package you can put it wherever you want without the need to use a specific package manager.

Of course, it's right!!
I've found the matching solution at
OpenOffice.org  Manual Install
Now the problem is how to put some icons to the desktop: I'm searching...
