Quote | Ive found a group of files in the mydsl downloads that are modules and they appear to be drivers and wrappers but its not entirely clear as to why this is all arranged like this or in fact if those files go into the /mydsl/modules folder. | Right, you can grab modules from there, or your own (that you compiled, etc.). Placing them in /mydsl/modules is entirely optional. But if you do, they will be automatically insmod'd upon startup. This info can be found at the download page, release notes, etc. However, you will probably find that mydsl page useless for you, since you are using DSL v4.0 and that those modules are for previous releases.
Quote | Ive noticed that if I put DSL exts into this folder then the system seems to notice them on startup but maybee it does not load them like it would in the /mydsl folder. | What do you mean by "notice"?
