Sometimes the refresh option doesn't work so well. I'd noticed that with my wrapper scripts (chmod +x and then refresh and they're still not executable), and that's why I suggested the re/start menu items. That's one of the shortcomings of dfm, imo. OTOH, it does refresh properly when deleting/shredding files (see my second video).
