I tried the same thing with /dev/sda1 instead of /mnt/sda1, but did not work either.
USB port and drive are fine. I tested it in Knoppix. |
You're going to mount it in /mnt, not /dev.
With the pendrive inserted, type (and paste back): fdisk -l
(Lower-case L.)
