I use SBC/yahoo - adsl ..
They are NOT linux friendly with support. In fact, if you do not have a windows machine currently connected DIRECTLY to their provided modem, you won't get far at all with tech support.
Using it in Linux/DSL is very easy, though. Reconfigure the modem as a pass-thru to your router/gateway/firewall, and setup for pppoe login, and your all set.
I did have to call to setup my INITIAL login account.. After that , everything is done via sbcyahoo online.
