I'm intending to run DSL on a 340 Mb Microdrive in a system that has no floppy, no CD, no NIC, though it does have 4 USB ports.
I think the easiest way to install to this would be to do an install on a different machine that has all that stuff. So, I have installed it (using dsl-hdinstall.sh) to the Microdrive using a USB adapter.
The only thing is that in the run machine the Microdrive will be identified as /dev/hdc whereas in my USB adapter, it's recognized as /dev/sda. I can't boot from my USB adapter, but I can chroot to it after booting up with the CD.
So are the only files needed to be changed /etc/lilo.conf & /etc/fstab? Or is there more than that?
Thanks.
