I'm not sure if this problem goes here or not but I'll put it here and if it's the wrong place I'm sure it will placed in the proper place.
But here goes the problem. Last week one night we had a power outage during the early morning hours. When I got up my DSL was stuck on the bootup screens. I had to run the e2fsck (I think) to get it to finish booting. Now though I've got a new problem to conquer. Every time I reboot or shutdown I get this type of message:
apm: overridden by acpi Binary: No such file or directory Please mount media containing the optional dir and try again.
I end up having to hit the power switch and then go through the check forced startup routine. Can anyone tell me what's wrong and what I need to do to fix it?
Thank you!!!
