How do I know what install to use, frugal or debian, lilo or grub??  Also, regarding windows, I would like to wipe it out completly, but once dsl is installed I have to get the pcima, (linksys) wireless card working.  I have the original drivers cd, so could I use that?  Does thise question make sense even, lol.  thank you everyone

Im also curious, does the permanent hard drive install have an interface like the one Im seeing from the live cd?  I like its setup and the monitors on the right side??

Frugal is essentially the same as a liveCD, but it runs from your harddrive.  Since it runs initially from a compressed read-only filesystem it cannot easily become corrupted, but it requires a little work on your part to keep your changes backed up.
A debian-style install is very close to your traditional type of linux system, where the filesystem is extracted to your harddrive, and all changes are permanent.

Lilo and Grub are bootloader choices.  I can't explain the differences, since i know very little about Lilo, but from what i know Lilo is much smaller and grub is a little more flexible.
