Howdy and thanks to everyone reading/answering my post!

I have a swap partition (hda1) that I would like to activate at boot.

Is there any way to do this?

Thanks again,
Will

If it has been set as a swap partition (swapon /dev/whatever) it should be automatically detected and used as swap unless you use the "noswap" boot option.  Apparently you have created the swap partition, but have not done swapon?

Some distros will require that you specify a swap partition even after swapon, but DSL should use it by default.
