You can also just use the cool little window in the lower-right corner of your desktop (don't know what it's called) and click through the different drives, and when you get to "cdrom", click the icon just to the left of the arrows (looks like a little hard drive) - it will turn green when it's mounted. Then, as cbagger01 said, you can use Emelfm to browse to /mnt/cdrom or /mnt/auto
Thought I'd add since someone obviously went to the trouble to design that little program - might as well use it :-)
