Try this:

sudo cfdisk /dev/hda

where hda is the name of your hard drive.

Primary IDE controller, MASTER drive = hda
Primary IDE controller, SLAVE drive = hdb
Secondary IDE controller, MASTER drive = hdc
Secondary IDE controller, SLAVE drive = hdd

is there something that I can do to the Compaq Diagnostic Partition on my HD? There are two actually, one of 7Mb and anotherone with 22Mb, Should I erase them or should leave them there?
Bacause the Error keeps coming every time I use cfdisk, and whit sfdisk it gives me an error that it cannot access bloc 0

Every thing is after I type: "sudo su"
(that puts me in root mode, right?)
