I would assume that those of us running a livecd setup, or /knoppix in /dev/hda1 setup, requiring a restore, would have to put opt/bootlocal.sh in filetool.lst to get it saved between boot-ups. On my system, /dev/hda1 is already mounted, as /cdrom since I have the /knoppix folder there, and I have a choice of a couple of restore tarballs, in different partitions. I'm thinking about adding this line to my bootlocal.sh to start my internet connection and see what happens: sudo /ramdisk/usr/bin/wvdial Of course I had to add wvdial back into 0.6.1 on restore to be able to get my modem detected. ---
