Hello,
I'am fighting with my laptop. I can coot on a floppy to launch the system (copy of /knoppix/knoppix) like CD.
I make a HD-install to hda3 and ask to write LILO on the MBR.
# sudo lilo -C /mnt/hda3/etc/lilo.conf -M /dev/hda mbr
No soucy
# lilo
I have a error, it seems to read the lilo.conf from the ISO...
The hda3 is my active partition (4 primary partition)
When I reboot, I have this message :
No boot signature in partition
This BASIC was aborted
becaus this machine has
no ROM BASIC
Use Toshiba's BASIC
Have you got idea ?
