Fellow penguin followers,

Can anyone tell me where I can find info on how to properly partition the HD to install DSL?
A step by step guide for newbbies would be great as I am a Linux Knowledge Idiot.

Hi burn image to cd. boot->press "F2"->type "dsl 2"->after every thing is loaded type "cfdisk"->pick a size for main partition aka / and hit enter ->pres "write"->with the left space make new partition->"type"(if i dont mistake - to change file system) press "enter" when ur asked to input number type 82(for swap)->press "write"->exit

The swap size depends on the amount of RAM installed on ur pc.I thik the best formula for calculating swap is 2*RAM.So if u have 32megs of ram like me

swap is 64mb
other space for linux

cfdisk is not working..im gettiing this::

FATAL ERROR: Cannot open disk drive
