Allright! The second command was a success. Read a similar command in this forum and should have tried it in hindsight.
The next question is a minor problem, mostly just curious. xmms doesn't stream properly. http://64.236.34.97:80/stream/1032 Soma fm plays back like something from a bad science fiction movie with a bunch of static mixed in. Is this related to having only 40Mb ram?
No big deal. It's not what I wanted the sound for.
Edit/ Forgot to mention I downloaded a .wav file. This played back just fine. Err, nm. Other urls can stream. Something about Soma it seems.
Thanks for the help
