I added /dev/modem to the filetool.lst Where is the bootlocal.sh file?
I too have to config my modem/dialup everytime I run DSL, for some reason it goes through the motion of saving and restoring my files to floppy, there are two files- backup.tar.gz and filetool.lst. It 'remembers' nothing I have set.
The most I have been able to "restore" is my desktop style. ie- the default is 'simple' and I set it to 'minimal.' I restore this by bashbox# .bash_profile
Wondering what files I need to edit in order to restore my dialup settings and desktop 'preferences.'
