That would be 'lsusb'

console responds with: Installed drivers: netma111       driver installed, hardware present
That means its all good to go - you've now got to set up your wifi settings to connect (ie essid, etc.).

Hi

I agree.  It looks like this should be working now.  You should be able to use the DSL control panel Prism2 selection to configure your connection.

It may be helpful to try to connect to an "open" network before trying to secure it.  If your access point can be temporarily set up to not use a security it may easier to test.  To connect to an "open" network you do not need to fill in any information in the control panel.  Just click ok.

good luck

I have got a bit further with my Dialogue Flybook A331 wlan. It's working fine as long there is no encryption in use, but no way to switch it on. Command:
iwconfig wlan0 key s:mySecretKey
will result operation not supported.
http://www.fuschlberger.net/flybook/0 lists the wlan as working with prism2_usb driver, but encryption issue is left open. In Windows it's working fine. Should it work in DSL as well?

Thanks for all the help guys, as you already figured out it was probably already working, it was I who was making the mistake of typing in the WEP key without separating the hex with ":" sorry for taking up your time.

Hi
Great to hear you got it working.  I wish I could say that I have not made similar mistakes.

Have fun and good luck.
