I´m using P II, 300MHz, 32 MB RAM, 3GB hdd, DSL is installed on hd (not on partition)

I used to haw a windows 98se on it that run firefox fairly good.
it runs almost as good on it , a bit slower but crashes down after couple of minuts of running.   What to do?  PS: Dillo works fairly well but u can´t browse all pages with it e.g. hotmail.com .

With 32M of RAM, I've found Opera to be the best bet.  You're right, Dillo is a bit limited and Firefox didn't seem to run well with limited RAM.

Here is a link to the .uci extension of opera.

I also think opera works a little better than firefox on my machine (233mhz 128mb). Here is a thread about the latest version of opera being add free.

It is not a matter of RAM, I have 256 Mb on my computer and Firefox crashes very quickly, and I tried the default one on DSL, 1.04 without gtk2, 1.06, 1.5, and all behave badly.
I also think Opera is better and it should replace Firefox now that it is free,  but there is a problem with DSL that provokes that Firefox crashes and it may affect other programs too.
