Hi,
I had the same problem with Asus (new DSL-CD, but always Windows showing up) but it turned out to be not the fault of the notebook but my own: Somewhere I read that it is necessary to switch off the "Quick boot" in your BIOS and now it's working without problems . When active, Quick boot will always overrun your own choice of the booting device...
