Well, I got DSL running great on my Insipiron 1000, but the only thing is, the battery indicator in the little torsmo (sp?) thing on the desktop doesn't give me anything about my battery life.

Anyone have any ideas about any configuration options for that?  Or am I just supposed to wing it on battery life? :P

Your laptop should use ACPI. DSL-2.1b supports ACPI. You may use it with: wmacpi_1.99r7.dsl or wmbatteries or torsmo (and battstate.pl script).  :D
