i´ve got an problem with my touchpad aswell (on an old Acer Note light 370C). The touchpad freezes after a while (ca. 30 min) an i am not able to fix it. i guess it is a hardware problem. Well, what i have done, was switching the desktop to jwm, then editet the .jwmrc in the /home/dsl directory to make the root menu available via keystroke. works nearly perfect for me. nearly means, i still have to do some stuff like finding out which applications can be uses with the keyboard only. at least i am able to start the applications i want. my opinion is that an proper os doesn´t need a mouse at all. so i am willing to try a remaster, where everything can be accessed via keyboard commands an no mouse is needed.
if anyone is interessted in helping me with that - you are welcome ;-)
kind regards escay
