I'm using a D-Link DWS-G630 wifi card in my laptop. I modprobe the ndiswrapper module after I boot up and it detects my card and the cards hops on to my local router and everything is cool.
The problem occurs when I use Dillo or I try to download more than one thing at a time. The computer just freezes or if I am at a command prompt, I get the kernel panic error and dump. I don't have this problem with a wired connection. Could this be a problem with the ndiswrapper module? I'm using the latest drivers from D-Link.
My only alternative, which I loathe, is to try another linux and compile the ndiswrapper and/or madwifi modules and the kernel from source. This would require a TON of time on the 133mhz cpu.
