From DSL Wiki

Links to content outside of DSL Wiki are encouraged, with the following ground-rules.

Contents

No explicit content

Period.

If you wouldn't want your 6 year old kid to see it, don't link to it.

Linking to explicit content will result in a ban on the first offense. Just don't do it.

Unofficial Packages

You may not link or refer to a MyDSL package that does not exist in the official MyDSL Repository or the MyDSL Testing Area. Such packages have not passed the rigorous testing process to be placed in the repository, and are not officially a part of DSL, and as such should not be referenced to or linked in the DSL Documentation Project.

You may link to external packages from reputable sites, such as the Debian Apt repositories or an application's home page. The Wiki moderators are the final say on which sites are reputable, and which are not. Linking a to a package on your private ftp site is not allowed.

Utilities

Links to utilities, such as the rawwrite and md5sum utilities for Windows are fine, provided that the utilities are reputable, freely downloadable/distributable, and linked from the wiki to that product's download page, or an official mirror.

Non-free Software

We discourage linking to non-free software. There is a freeware substitute for almost any need. If you have to link to a shareware utility, that's fine, as long as it's freely distributable. Linking to paid-only software is strongly discouraged.

Also, linking to "hacked" or "cracked" versions of non-free software is expressly forbidden and will result in the immediate blocking of the offender's ability to edit wiki pages, based on IP address.
