Purpose
This page exists as a deposit for out-of-place questions that have found their way onto the wiki (articles, discussions, etc.). Wiki-related questions belong on the wiki ... but "My super computer won't boot DSL and I wanna know why" doesn't belong on the wiki.
I'm putting that type of content here to help clear off a few otherwise empty articles, discussion pages, etc. (dentonlt Dec 2008)

ORIGINAL CONTENT: The use of Google adverts, so close to navigation menus and using the same font / background colour hinder the usability of the site. Could you add a bit more space and a different background colour?

SAMBA PROBLEM

Q about building a boot CD
ORIGINAL CONTENT: I copied the 2 files in "what do I copy", clicked on each and it brought up the CD create program, I wrote to the CDROM CD-RW, but my PC (Dell SX270) will not boot to either. I power up, hit F12 for the boot menu, select "5" for boot the CDROM and it boots to XP. What am I missing. TIA
