fbdev, Badwulf,synaptic, xrandr

Hey,here are some Problems I am struggling with:
after installing with the xorg=fbdev parameter on the bootoptions I have an resolution of 480x800 on my EEE PC 4G,which is good. Unfortunately badwulf now only shows blank pages. This effect does not show when installing DSL with save videomode.
xrand, which I use in Antix to scale my screen with: " xrandr --output LVDS1 --scale 1.5x1.5" does not work in DSL.
apt-get update says :It appears that at least one file list is missing. So I am ve not shure if and how to upgrade my system succesfully.
Anyway, I have fun playing around :-) So John, it  is good you restarted this project, Thx.

Could you do me a favor and try to run then "DSL file restore" script and then try xrand command again?

I did run the script, xrandr says
failed to get size of gamma for output default
warning: output LVDS1 not found;  ignoring

this is the same information as bevore the script was done
