This is a great Distro. I don't know if you realize it but the rather simplistic Distro Chooser at www.tux.org suggests DSL for those with a computer older than 2 years, don't want to install onto hard drive, and would like a more technical version of Linux.
I run DSL on a work laptop so that I can use Bluefish to do my HTML editing and not distrub the hard drive.
When DSL boots up it only has one warning, but it doesn't seem to affect the functioning of DSL.
"can't locate mprob block major 2"
I'm not sure what this means. Any ideas, I think I quoted it correctly, but I may have made a few mistakes in joting it down quick.
When I try a shut down or a reboot it just freezes and then ejects the CD is that how it is supposed to work?
What might be going wrong?
I run a 2.8 PIV, 512 megs of ram, Toshiba Laptop. I save mydsl and backup on a USB memory drive.
Running DSL 0.8.0
Thanks for your help, mowestusa
