You are probably right about the graphics chip. This toshiba uses the Intel Extreme integrated graphics chip. I'm just glad you let me in on the enter key, I'll just remember to do that.

Thanks Libretto, about the modprobe error. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one with that problem. I also haven't experienced any troubles that I can tell so far because of it. I just love how fast everything works in DSL. I've given a friend the Knoppix CD, but I think that I will give him a copy of DSL instead because he has a 400 Pentium II, and DSL should run faster.

Back to the printer problem. It is a Canon S750 Color Inkjet. When I configured with the built in script it didn't seem to set up. I turned it on in the DSL System panel just like the start up directions said. Also the setup script didn't have a driver for the S750, just the S800 and S450. I don't even know if those will work with the S750. It is connected by USB.

Any ideas?

This is a buest guess, but I would try the following drivers (if available):

S450
BJC-6000
BJC-6200
S800

Set print quality to 600DPI for your test.

There have been reports that the S750 will work with the S800 driver except that it won't print out black correctly.

This is no shock to me because S750 is supposed to be 4-color and S800 is a 6-color printer.

This is why I suggest playing around with the previously mentioned drivers.

Good Luck.
