What's the best way to save Youtube videos for DSL? What format should I use for saving videos? What web site allows me to save videos in this format?

There are a couple "unofficial" ways to grab streaming flash videos... afaik they're in .flv format. There's probably various different programs and scripts to do it, but there was a thread in scripting in these forums... http://damnsmalllinux.org/cgi-bin....t=18656

Use the one from the last page, Youtube regularly changes their system to prevent video downloading.

It doesn't grab streaming video, that would lower the quality like hell :P, it downloads the exact video from the youtube server.

The format is H.263+ video and low-quality mp3 audio in flv (flash) container..
