Also, you have from the main menu: Xshells->Root Access
Also, you don't need to have a burner to boot from the latest version of DSL. If you can download the latest version to a hard drive, just the iso, then boot from 0.8.0 with the command bootfrom
Say for example you downloaded 0.8.3 to /dev/hda1 Then upon booting your current cd do this:
boot: dsl bootfrom=/dev/hda1/dsl-0.8.3.iso
