Example: md5sum dsl-1.5.iso
than compare this with the given md5sum in the matching file ending in .md5.txt

Search Google or download.com for a free checker

For example, I use this one:

http://www.etree.org/md5com.html

You will then need to save the matching *.md5.txt checksum file that is for your downloaded *.iso file
